Episode 1 of 6

Duration: 30 minutes

Comedian and self-confessed creature of habit Russell Kane uncovers and celebrates the astounding breadth of Britain's weird and wonderful personal habits and obsessions - and reveals just how widespread they really are.

All of us at some time worry about whether we're normal or not. We fret about those odd things we do when no one's looking. But, behind closed doors, everyone has odd habits - being freaky, it turns out, is actually the norm.

In this episode we meet a dance instructor on a spot-squeezing mission, a man who spends up to ten hours at a time cleaning his car, a restaurant manager who wears a brand new pair of pants every day and a British schoolboy who's obsessed with becoming American, among others.

And the great British public debate matters of national importance - such as funny food habits, how often you should change your underwear and how you should greet people.
