Stephen hosts a busy phone-in on the eve of the London Fire Brigade Union Strike.

In the first hour, the General Secretary of the Fire Brigades Union, Matt Wrack, makes an 'on-air' offer to the Chairman of the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority, Brian Coleman on the eve of the FBU strike in London. Later in the programme, a junior doctor caller challenges a firefighter over the union's decision to strike on Bonfire night.

In hour two, Stephen hears from Norman Shanks, the former Head of Group Security at BAA. He conducted the review of baggage security at all BAA airports, and has called for a fundamental review of aviation security.
