Synopsis

Episode image for Neil Diamond

Chris Evans and Jo Whiley are back at the London Roundhouse, as Neil Diamond performs for the last night of the Electric Proms.

After a career spanning five decades, over 128 million worldwide record sales, three dozen Top Forty hits, a Grammy and a Golden Globe, Neil Diamond is just getting started. Tonight, he revisits his own back catalogue, which includes classic songs like I'm A Believer and Sweet Caroline. He also showcases his skills as a performer with interpretations of his favourite songs from other rock composers, including The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, The Eagles and Randy Newman.

A Night With Neil Diamond will broadcast on BBC Two on Saturday 13 November, featuring highlights of the Radio 2 Electric Proms, together with a documentary about Neil's prolific and rich music career. Red Button and online will provide exclusive clips and behind the scenes footage from Saturday 6 November.
