He's more interested in the sex and drugs lifestyle, and even his own agent thinks he's completely washed up and has blown his last chance. When Joe's mother calls him back home to England for the funeral of a treasured childhood friend, it triggers a series of memories about his time growing up near the sea, and the secret encounters which ended up shaping his life forever.
