Forty years ago Concorde was being tested prior to going into commercial service but already prompting complaints about noise from those who lived under its flight path. The Boeing 747 "Jumbo Jet" undertook its first commercial flight and one package tour operator had to get permission to offer a four day break in Majorca for just £18. You and Yours marks its fortieth birthday this month with a look back at the travel industry of 1970 and of the future.
