BBC Radio 4 brings back a much loved TV favourite - What the Papers Say. It does what it says on the tin. In each programme a leading political journalist has a wry look at how the broadsheets and red tops treat the biggest stories in Westminster and beyond. This week David Aaronovitch of The Times takes the chair and the editor is Catherine Donegan.

    David Aaronovitch is a writer, broadcaster and commentator on culture, international affairs, politics and the media. He is a regular columnist for The Times and the author of two books. His most recent work, Voodoo Histories, traces the origins of conspiracy theories and analyses how they’ve shaped history.

    David has previously written for The Independent, The Guardian and The Observer, winning numerous accolades, including Columnist of the Year 2003 and the 2001 Orwell prize for journalism. In 2003, David won the What the Papers Say “Columnist of the Year” award.
