US marines have taken over control of Sangin in Afghanistan from British troops, the area where there have been the heaviest British casualties. We're joined by the commanding officer of the Royal Marines 40 Commando Lt Col Paul James, and his American replacement in Sangin from the US Marine Corps, Lt Colonel Clay Tipton.

Shelagh's at the Liberal Democrat party conference in Liverpool, where the day's main event will be party leader and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg's keynote address to his party members.
