Synopsis
Ken Bruce gets Radio 2's countdown of the UK's Top 100 Million Selling Singles underway. It's a chart based entirely on million-plus sales from the past six decades, incorporating vinyl, CD, cassette and downloads.
Compiled by The Official Charts Company, especially for Radio 2, the top 100 is based on sales data from November 1952 to 7 August 2010. Expect more than a few surprises along the way and some slightly unseasonable Christmas tunes!
Find out which song features not just twice, but three times; discover who has rung up the greatest number of entries; and find out if the Gibb brothers feature in the chart, as Radio 2 celebrates its Bee Gees Bank Holiday.
