Synopsis
Arcade Fire are that rare combination of things - a popular, critically-acclaimed Canadian band.
As they release their third album and gear up to headline the Reading and Leeds Festival, Radio 1 heads to Montreal to spend time with frontman Win Butler and his troupe of multi-instrumentalists.
Telling the full story of the band from childhood to the present day, along they way you'll find out where Win's fascination with the suburbs comes from, why he thinks they're so good at expressing emotion, and whether this is going to be their last album.
Featuring Win Butler and his brother Will, Win's wife Regine Chassagne, drummer Jeremy Gara and guitarist Richard Reed Parry.
