Duration: 3 hours

London's Hyde Park stages the fifth round of the World Championship Series, which represents the penultimate chance to qualify for 2010's Grand Final in Budapest.

Great Britain's Alistair Brownlee is the defending world champion, and is playing catch-up in his bid for successive titles after missing the opening two rounds of the series with a stress fracture of his thigh. He made a stunning return in June to win in Madrid and will be hopeful of repeating his victory in London last year.

Australia-based Chilean Barbara Riveros Diaz has dominated the women's standings this year and will start as favourite around the 2012 Olympic triathlon venue.
