Kenny Garrett

Jamie Cullum showcases his love for all types of jazz, and music rooted in jazz, from its heritage to the future.

Post bop jazz saxophonist and flautist Kenny Garrett talks about his time working with the Duke Ellington orchestra, Miles Davis and Pharoah Sanders. He plays some of the tracks from his last album, Sketches Of MD: Live At the Iridium, featuring Pharoah Sanders, and tells the stories behind those tunes.

Meanwhile Jamie plays another South African jazz song as part of the World Cup.
