Natascha McElhone
Natascha McElhone is an actress best known for films including the Truman Show and the American TV series Californication. She was away filming in LA, with her two sons and pregnant with her third child, when she received news that her husband had died suddenly of a heart attack at their home in London. In dealing with her grief, she began writing letters, telling him how she felt, and how the family were adapting to life without him. She joins Jane to talk about the experience and describe why she was inspired to share her letters in a book.

Naked parents and naked children
Are you comfortable being naked in front of your children? Do you mind if your toddler runs around in the nude? Some people are concerned that it sends confusing sexual messages or prematurely instils awareness of sexuality. So should there be rules in the family about nudity? It is estimated there are three million children who are overweight or obese in the UK. Many health experts say it’s a ‘ticking time bomb’. Today sees the launch of the first ever National Childhood Obesity Week. Health organisations and charities like the National Obesity Forum and the British Heart Foundation are calling on the government to set out its strategy for tackling the problem. Jane hears from families coping with obesity and is joined by Tam Fry from the National Obesity Forum and Jacqui Lowdon, a paediatric dietician.
