Tuesday - Vuvuzela Mad!

Today's show was dedicated to anyone who has first-hand experience of the vuvuzela or any other cultural phenomena and was entitled: "To call for a ban on the Vuvu in South Africa would be tantamount to going to Scotland and demanding the end of the bagpipes!"

Vicky Loveday announced on the Mega-Phone-Call that she is able to hear properly again after having a grommet fitted to treat glue ear. She no longer thinks people chewing gum are holding a conversation with her, and would like to ask her friends and family to stop shouting.

Today's Mystery Guest was Fiona MacPherson, Senior Editor in the New Words Department of The Oxford English Dictionary.
