  • Vinaigrette

    Allegra McEvedy, chef and founder of the seasonal fast-food restaurant chain Leon, shows Jane how to dress-up a summer salad.

    Allegra's McEvedy's recipe for vinaigrette:
    1 part vinegar
    2.5 parts oil (cold-pressed Rape seed oil highly recommended as a cheaper and healthy alternative to extra virgin olive oil)
    1/2 clove garlic crushed
    1/2 tsp honey
    1/2 Dijon mustard
    Pinch salt and pepper.

    Whisk together or put in a jar and shake together.
