A cull of badgers in England has been announced by the new coalition Government to help reduce the spread of TB in cattle which has cost the taxpayer £100million a year. Welcomed by farmers' groups and opposed by wildlife organisations Charlotte Smith speaks to Farming Minister Jim Paice about the plans, hears reaction to the news and speaks to scientists who say it could actually make the situation worse.
