Nicky Campbell asks, how much influence could smaller parties have after this election?

UKIP's Lord Pearson is challenged on his party's commitment to ban the burkha. One caller says any ban would leave her housebound under her religious beliefs. Lord Pearson calls for a reasoned debate on the issue with "mild muslims" and says that there is a problem within the theology of the Koran.

Plaid Cymru leader Ieuan Wyn Jones is asked by a caller why he backed plans for a nuclear power station when his own party opposed the fuel source. He says it showed he was "independent-thinking" and capable of putting consituency needs first. He also says that his party was committed to independence but admits it's not going to happen in the next 5 years.
