  • Prayers

As we continue our Easter Season Lord, help me to see your creation with the eyes of faith. Help me to be hopeful and to see life when it might be easier to see dead things.
Risen Lord full of compassion you are with me as I walk the roads of sorrow and joy. Fill with me strength when I know you are near.
We pray for the sick and the lonely and we remember the marginalised and the poor.
Bless them with health and strength and everything they need for a contented life.
Help all who are housebound to feel they have friends who will remember them. And may they be consoled by the prayers which we offer with them and for them tonight.
Bless all who are travelling on the roads. Keep them safe from all dangers and may they arrive at their destinations safe and well.
Give us a good and restful night’s sleep.

We offer all our prayers through the words of the Psalm,
“May my song give him pleasure.
As the Lord gives me delight.
May sinners vanish from the earth.
And may the wicked be no more.
    Bless the Lord my souls.

We offer all our prayers through Christ our Lord, Amen.
