Sixteen million lambs are born every year in the UK. It's big business but it's also a gamble. In this groundbreaking new series, Kate Humble and Adam Henson broadcast live from a sheep farm in Wales to capture this amazing life and death drama as it happens.
As the series kicks off, we meet our farmers, the Beavans, and our very first lambs. Over the past six months, Kate's been learning the skills she needs to become a shepherd while Adam's been travelling the UK to explore the secret life of sheep. Did Kate help pick the right rams for the job? How many lambs will be born? How many will survive? Follow their stories as the series unfolds.
