Costume drama. The locals are rehearsing for their annual production of St George and the Dragon when they hear rumours that Sir Timothy has returned. They are thrilled at the prospect of performing it for the squire himself, but with the play fast approaching and no sign of Sir Timothy, Dorcas decides to pay him a visit. She finds only Lady Adelaide. As the two women come face to face they are forced to confront their shared history, learning more about each other than they could have imagined.

    Lark Rise prepares for the annual play, but will the guest of honour attend? Queenie loses patience with Twister and hankers after a life of solitude.

  • Saint George

    Twister comes under pressure to give up the role of Saint George. Pearl wants Daniel all to herself and rumours circulate that Sir Timothy has been seen at the manor.

  • Robert’s Accident

    Minnie takes on a new role at work after contributing to Robert’s fall from his ladder. Dorcas is reminded of her friendship with Sir Timothy.

  • Laura Questions Her Place

    Laura cares for Robert in Lark Rise and being at home makes her question her relationship with Daniel.

  • Queenie’s Advice

    Laura stands in as the doctor to save the play. Later, Laura has an encounter with Queenie who gives her some words of advice.

  • Lady of the Manor

    Dorcas visits Lady Adelaide to try to find out if Sir Timothy will be coming to the play. Robert’s injury makes him feel helpless.

  • The Dragon

    Someone finally comes forward to play the role of the dragon, but Twister isn’t keen. Lady Adelaide has news for Dorcas.

  • The Performance

    The play turns to farce when Queenie tries to teach Twister a lesson. Lady Adelaide asks Dorcas about her relationship with Sir Timothy.

  • Robert’s Recovery

    Robert’s back gets better in time for him to try and talk sense into Queenie. Pearl learns to accept Daniel and Laura’s relationship.
