Episode image for Alaska: The Arctic Man Ski and Sno-Go Classic

Duration: 30 minutes

Ed Leigh and Graham Bell travel to Alaska to take part in Arctic Man, one of the toughest alpine sport competitions in the world.

They join 15,000 spectators as they descend on Summit Lake, a town with a usual inhabitancy of seven. With no hotels for hundreds of miles, the presenters have to live in a motor home and drive, on one of Alaska's three roads, to this rowdy event deep in the snowy Alaskan wilderness. The race combines downhill skiing with skidoo riding and is guaranteed to provide hair-raising moments for anyone taking part; Graham and Ed are no exception.
