Against the Odds

Episode image for Against the Odds

Duration: 1 hour

Cops from different police forces come together in Warwickshire on the M6 for a massive crackdown on motorists who break the law by driving without licences and insurance.

Using a sophisticated Automatic Number Plate Recognition system connected to a special police computer, they find stolen cars which have had their identities changed, illegal immigrants and chemicals for making large quantities of drugs. They also come across a Chinese man who hasn't had a British driving licence for over a year and a motorist who gets stopped every time he gets into his car because someone used his numberplates for an armed robbery.

Narrated by Jamie Theakston.
