American Midwest born Israel Nash Gripka has recorded a session for Bob with his band and you can hear it after midnight.

He was brought up in a place where cattle outnumber people and where country music rules the airwaves. His father was a Baptist Minister, preaching in Ozark churches, but also playing Israel the songs of the Beatles, the blues of the Stones and the stories of Townes Van Zandt and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Now based in New York City, Israel has been labelled as a child of the 70s, with a penchant for sing along folk rock that marks him out as a rival to Ryan Adams and Richard Thompson.
