One of the Premier League's most controversial players, Didier Drogba, gives special access to 5 live as he explains his mission to build a hospital in his home nation of Ivory Coast.

Back in March, a wall collapsed at the stadium staging the match between the Ivory Coast and Malawi leaving 20 fans dead. The local hospital was unable to cope and Drogba saw this for himself on the day after the game.

He vowed to do something about the health care in his country and this is his story, as told by football journalist Ian McGarry.

This photo it taken in a poor district in Abidjan - a place called Drogba Village. This man is the chief of the village; he is self-apppointed and is a massive fan of Drogba's, following him around the country. The Chief's main ambition before he dies is to meet the man himself.
