Synopsis

On the day the Winter Solstice hits the UK, 6 Music heads to the Southern Hemisphere to find warmth and humour. And who better to provide a bit of light relief than the presenters of Australia's most popular radio show. With over 2 millions listeners, Hamish Blake & Andy Lee have risen to the top of the entertainment field down under with their chemistry and unique comedic style.

This is the first time a UK radio audience will be able to tune in to the duo who host a drivetime show across Australia and New Zealand. Working together since University, the boys have also found success on TV and with their podcasts reaching the number 1 spot in Australia. The show finds its humour in everyday stories and situations as well as finding funny new angles and questions to put to their guests. Jamie Oliver and Ricky Gervais will feature on today's show.
