If the UN climate change summit in Copenhagen is to be a success the world's rich and developing nations must overcome deep differences. Sudan has a significant role in the pre-Copenhagen diplomacy.

Abdalmahmood Mohamed is Sudan's Ambassador at the UN and is also chairman of the G77 and China bloc of developing countries. If Copenhagen becomes a battleground between rich and poor, will we all lose out?
