Synopsis
Life is tough and especially grim at Westgate penitentiary, where violence is the norm and the inmates live in fear of the sadistic reprisals of power-thirsty Captain Munsey, chief guard, who exercises absolute power over the warden and the entire prison. Inmate Joe Collins has had enough of Munsey's petty cruelties. He enlists the help of fellow cell mates to plan an escape. But Munsey, who has his informers, is not far behind him.
