"I've been been working at Radio 2 since 1999, when they decided it was time for a dedicated traffic reporter," says Sally.
I started out as a very bad actressSally Boazman
"Starting with Johnnie Walker on Drivetime, I was ultimately extended across to other shows, and now devote myself to the afternoons, working alongside the likes of Steve Wright, Jeremy Vine and Simon Mayo.
"I started out as a very bad actress, so moved into television. After stints in regional television, I ended up at London Weekend TV, but decided that my face really was great for radio, so began working at AA roadwatch, presenting traffic reports for various stations across the country.
"After a brief stint at the BBC World Service as a continuity announcer and newsreader, I ended up at New Scotland Yard, doing traffic reports for Greater London Radio, the local BBC station for London.
"From there, Radio 2 beckoned, and me and my Traffic Hotline have been here ever since.
"I have a musician son, Harry, and go to the gym as often as possible. However, these visits have had no impact whatsoever on my healthy size 16 figure, so I'm thinking of giving up.
"I love food and the odd glass of wine."
