Scotland's countryside magazine. Dougie Vipond investigates whether our countryside is becoming cluttered with too many road signs. Nick Nairn continues his journey through the pages of Scotland's culinary history, and wildlife cameraman Philip Lovel goes in search of an extremely rare white deer hind.

Photographing the elusive otter
Wildlife cameraman Philip Lovel goes in the search of otters in the west coast of Scotland. Otters are shy, secretive and largely nocturnal so will Philip be able to be able to capture this elusive animal on camera?
