Synopsis

Archie fails to manipulate Jack into duping Sam in accordance with his plan. Janine tries to get the wheels in motion of Archie’s divorce by bringing a lawyer to see him.

Archie invites Sam to lunch and brings the lawyer. As Archie presses him to divulge how to get Sam off, the lawyer bristles at the illegality of what Archie is proposing and leaves.

Archie attempts to manipulate Sam into skipping the country. As he seems close to breaking her, Ricky arrives and vehemently deters her. With Ricky seeming to be a thorn in his side, Archie realises he must take a different tack.

Seeing Bianca, he informs her that he saw Sam and Jack kissing. Incensed, Bianca tells Ricky to ask Sam what she’s been up to with Jack, leaving Ricky devastated.

Having heard about the failed insurance claim, Phil smells a rat. Max feigns ignorance, but Phil later reveals that he’s discovered the loss adjuster is a fraud and demands Max return £13k to him.

Backed into a corner, Max claims that he hasn’t got the money and pleads with Phil not to tell Tanya.

Returning home later, Max finds Phil with Tanya. As Phil is about to tell Tanya, a panicked Max agrees to find the money. Phil gives him until the morning to stump up the cash.

Libby visits Owen in prison and is disbelieving to hear that he suspects Lucas of calling the police. Libby confronts Lucas about Owen’s claim and is astonished when he confesses.

As Lucas attempts to justify his actions to an irate Libby, Denise is left to try and keep the peace. Furious, Libby claims she won’t attend the wedding. Fed up, Denise calls off the wedding.

Jack probes Roxy as to Ronnie’s whereabouts and admits he still loves Ronnie.
