Richard Cadey's Children in Need diary

All this week our reporter Richard Cadey is travelling around Scotland with his guitar trying to raise lots of money for Children in Need. On Sunday night he was at Strathallan School Concert at Perth Concert Hall, followed by a trip to St John's Shopping Centre in the city centre on Monday morning. Here is Richard's diary from Day 1 of his tour...

"All feeling a little fatigued but also in great spirits as our trip to Perth raised almost £1100! Met some great people last night and this morning, including Nick, a violinist, and Sean, a guitarist, who joined us for a quick busk in the shopping centre today. We're on our way to Aberdeen right now - let's how generous they are. I have played 'Rockin All Over The World' about 100 times and desperately need to learn a new song!"

Later on he caught up with the cast of Chicago at His Majesty's Theatre, Aberdeen.
