Synopsis

Samantha Smith finds out what the Germans find so compelling about the stories of Rosamunde Pilcher and, in an interview with her, we discover the novelist's Cornish roots. Josie d'Arby uncovers an international scam centred on a muddy field in Somerset, and Chris Packham comes to Plymouth to explore the links between the maritime city and the great Victorian naturalist Charles Darwin.
