Senior UN official Dino Mahtani tells the BBC sanctions breaking is still rife in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with rebel groups using smuggled gold to fund arms.
UN OFFICIAL WARNS SANCTIONS ARE BEING BROKEN
The UN Security Council is due to hear a report this week on breaches of its arms embargo in Congo. UN official Dino Mahtani tells File on 4's Jenny Cuffe that smuggled gold is being used to fund rebel militias.
