Synopsis
Tom Robinson presents two hours of the best online music by unsigned and under the radar artists.
Tonight, session tracks by Manchester indie band It's A Buffalo whose debut album Don't Be Scared is out now. Plus, up and coming UK hip hop outfit 8Fold join Tom in the studio for a chat.
The future's looking bright for the British urban music scene and this means for 8Fold as well. The band has just finished supporting 2009 Mercury Prize Winner Speech Debelle on her nationwide tour and their newly released debut album Poets Cottage has exceeded all expectations in the download charts. Formed in 2004, 8Fold have already established a strong fan base with their unique self-named genre of music, 'Gyp Hop' which fuses together Hip Hop, Jazz, Funk and Drum and Bass. If you fancy checking out the live 'Gyp Hop' experience then you can see 8Fold perform in Winchester, Barnoldswick and London throughout November.
