Synopsis
With his motto "if it's cool, I'll play it", Fun Lovin' Criminal Huey Morgan plays an eclectic mix of the best music from the past six decades, spanning rock, rap, reggae, blues, disco, soul and Latino. Inspired by his New York upbringing and his experiences as a musician, Huey accompanies his playlist with personal anecdotes and stories in his own inimitable laid-back style.
This week, Huey meets Blur lead guitarist and acclaimed solo artist Graham Coxon to talk about his 7th solo release, the primarily acoustic and blues influenced The Spinning Top. It's been a hectic year for Coxon as Blur spectacularly re-formed to much media hype, performing at Glastonbury, T In The Park, Oxegen and London's Hyde Park just off the back of the release of The Spinning Top in May. Huey talks to him about guitars, the Blur reunion, the inspiration behind his latest solo release and his upcoming tour dates.
Plus, listeners get to suggest their own Sunday chill-out jams in 'Slack Sabbath'.
