Synopsis

Richard Allinson is in for Chris and talks to a dating agency who claim your perfect date is all down to DNA matching. And walk this way? We find out if there is a right and wrong way to walk.

Perfect Match?

We all know how important chemistry is when it comes to finding the perfect partner. Well, a dating agency in America is taking that theory literally, by putting people together on the basis of their DNA. We found out more from Eric Holzle Managing Director of scientificmatch.com

Walk This Way...

New research suggests that elderly people who walk fast are three times less likely to die of heart disease than those who walk slowly. It just goes to show how important walking is. So, what’s the perfect way to walk? We spoke to chartered physiotherapist, Sammy Margo...

Wednesday 11 November - Question

We keep contemplating this question. What comes first? The crane or the crane that puts the top on top of the top crane... And then who put the top on the crane of the crane that put the top on the crane... Etc. From Dylan, Thomas and Daniel Taylor

Wednesday 11 November - Answer

Thanks to everyone who texted in on this one and to David Hackney in particular. Cranes are made by mobile cranes that have a telescopic boom and can be driven around to building sites where they are needed. The various parts of the tower crane are lifted off a lorry by the mobile crane and bolted into place. It then adds the boom, followed by the counterbalance weights. If a really tall crane is needed, you might get a mobile crane building the first crane, then that crane building a taller second one, and then that one building an even taller third crane. And I'm told that you can also move cranes up inside a building as it's built, which gives it extra height.
