What's for Lunch? Chicken Broth

SIMPLE WINTER STEW/SOUP

Serves 2

100gr diced raw meat your choice(chicken,lamb,pork or beef)
50gr small dice carrot
50gr small dice turnip
50grdice leek
50gr small dice potato
50gr small brocolli & cauliflower florets
1 tbsp chopped chives or parsley
2pts hot stock (cubes are fine)
1 tbsp flour
2tbsp rapeseed oil or butter
salt & pepper

1 large pot & wooden spoon

1. heat oil or butter in pan, add all root vegetables and stir to soften
2. add flour and cook for 1 minute add diced meat pour in stock
3. stir until boiling then fast simmer for 8 mins
4. add cauliflower simmer for 1 minute then add brocolli
5. take off the heat add chopped herbs

serve
