Do alternative medicines really work?

Medical herbalists are lobbying Holyrood today over new European laws which could ban sales of a large number of herbal remedies. Have you put your faith in herbal remedies or other alternative therapies such as acupuncture, homeopathy and reiki healing, or is it all just quackery?
