Synopsis

Sketch show starring Alexander Armstrong and Ben Miller. A boxer and trainer struggle to fill the time between rounds and the RAF pilots mount an escape attempt from a POW camp.

    The Origins of the Dinner Party

    Frank Dad talks to his son about girls, a boxer and trainer struggle to fill the time between rounds, and Dennis Lincoln-Park visits an ancient abbey.

  3. Chapter 3

    The RAF Airmen refuse to help out their fellow POWs

    The boxer opens up to his trainer (see chapter 2), and a man has a never ending nightmare.

  4. Chapter 4

    Veal and Stafford are visited by Stafford's aunt

    The winner of the boxing is announced (see chapters 2 and 3), a man finds numerous nicknames for his co-worker Fred, and there's a performance from a pianist who is ahead of his time.

  5. Chapter 5

    Jilted Jim is introduced to a woman

    The ahead of his time pianist performs another song for his audience (see chapter 4), and the Nickname Man bumps into his old friend Mickey (see chapter 4).

  6. Chapter 6

    The RAF Airmen put their fellow POWs in jeopardy (see chapter 3)

    A Secret Service boss thinks his employees are working too late, and an author who can only communicate through blinking gets an irritating new assistant.

  7. Chapter 7

    End Titles / bonus sketch

    The Nickname Man goes through baby names (see chapters 4 and 6).
