Synopsis
Elliot struggles with his health and tries to get Joseph to act up as Consultant, but he is distracted with Archie's funeral. Pushed to the limit, Elliot is forced to leave theatre, suffering from an angina attack. Joseph and Penny decide to rally round.
Judith lets her personal life cloud her judgement, and she makes a bad call regarding a complaint against Elliot. Mark realises Judith has a problem, and encourages her to tell him about her acrimonious divorce.
Maria returns to work, determined to get stuck in, but almost trying too hard. When a patient complains about her lack of commitment, Judith stands by Maria, saying she must always take her breaks.
Highlight: The Professionals
Elliot's struggling. Will he crack under the added pressure?
