Actor and comedian Michael Palin joins Mark and Simon on stage at the National Film Theatre to discuss his life in films and his new book, Halfway to Hollywood: Diaries 1980-88.

Toby Young examines the future of the critic and his own ambiguous relationship with the role as both critic and criticised. He talks to Cosmo Landesman and Peter Bradshaw as he eagerly awaits the first reviews of his latest television film, When Boris met Dave.

Also on the programme, Miranda Sawyer takes the temperature at the Frieze contemporary art fair.
