The Unseen Bits

Would I Lie to You?, Series 3 Episode 9 of 9

A special compilation episode of the comedy panel show about truth and lies, featuring classic and unseen bits taken from the third series.

In each episode, panellists must read out statements about themselves from a card they've never seen before, some of which are lies and some of which are true. It's up to the other team to cross-question, quiz, and scrutinise each claim with the aim of spotting what's true and what's not.

In other rounds, a mystery guest is brought into the studio who has a close connection to one of the guests. Three players will claim it's them that has the connection, and it's up to the other team to spot who's actually telling the truth; and Rob Brydon introduces amazing archive footage linked to outrageous celebrity facts which may or may not be true.

Host Rob Brydon and team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack are joined by panellists who have appeared throughout the series, including Janet Street Porter, Omid Djalili, Russell Howard, Ken Livingstone, Clive Anderson, Miranda Hart, Reginald D Hunter, Terry Christian, Jamelia Davis, Stephen Mangan, Claudia Winkleman, Marcus Brigstocke, Fern Britton, Davina McCall, Jo Brand, Chris Hoy, Larry Lamb, Christine Bleakley, Frankie Boyle and Dave Gorman.

Part of the BBC Christmas 2009 season.
