Iain's Diary Week 1
Throughout the month of October five volunteers are taking part in a series of features here on MacAulay and Co aimed at cutting back their alcohol consumption. They’ll be keeping diaries throughout. Here’s Iain's 1st diary entry:
"I really haven't a clue how much I drink a week or,indeed, the balance between wine and spirits.
I run my own enterprise and go all over the UK usually working with people who want to become entrepreneurs so I am often staying away and eating and drinking with people Or relaxing after an event-by eating and drinking.
I know the maximum beer I can drink is a pint and a half .That after a gig I like a cocktail then a meal with wine.I particularly like red wine and trying different varieties and type especially Italian.
This is going to be an interesting few weeks. At the moment I am feeling pretty smug that as I have not got plastered for years I am a model drinker. We shall soon see..."
