Synopsis

Mike Harding presents his usual selection of the very best in folk, roots and acoustic music including news from the world of folk and the latest album releases.

There's also an interview with the Scottish singer songwriter Dougie MacLean. His song Caledonia is being used as the theme song to the 2009 Homecoming Scotland celebrations, a calendar of events marking the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns' birth and Scotland's rich cultural heritage.
