Duration: 5 minutes

Is your grandma up for a challenge? To mark the International Day of Older Persons on October 1st, BBC One Wales presents Hill of Dreams, a short film about a small but challenging personal ambition that becomes an ever-widening metaphor for hope, as pensioner Shirley Bourne puts on her golden shoes to undertake a journey she made over thirty years ago, and climbs the ancient hill fort of Twmbarlwm above her home town in South Wales once more.

International Day of Older Persons is a celebration of the opportunities, achievements and aspirations of older people and their contribution to our society and economy. It focuses on bringing different generations together to start to tackle the negative stereotypes of "old age", and promote a positive view of later life.
