Synopsis
Dramatised by DJ Britton.
Penny Downie and Julian Rhind-Tutt start in the first-ever adaptation of Nobel Prize-winner Patrick White's provocative and mysterious novel about sexual identity.
Eadie was no good as a mother - raising eyebrows in Edwardian Sydney society was more exciting and anyway her child kept running away. Now in her old age, she hopes to rekindle family affections. As the London Blitz begins, the Twyborns reveal their unconventional choices.
