Synopsis

Sam's miserable, Phil's decided she has to leave for Rio tonight. Sam disappears and Peggy realises she's gone to Archie's. Archie tells Peggy he'll help protect Sam - if he can be part of the family again. Peggy's shocked to learn that Sam was forced to dance on tables in Rio. Sam says she wishes she'd just gone to prison in England; the family wouldn't have forgotten her.

Peggy summons Ricky to the Vic and asks if he loves Sam. Later, Peggy gathers the family and announces that Sam and Ricky are engaged. Phil agrees Sam can stay one more day, then she and Ricky can leave together. Peggy visits Archie and begs him not to tell anyone about Sam.

Bianca decides to make a special dinner for Ricky. Tiffany ruins Bianca's dress, so Pat lends Bianca her lucky dress. Ricky's late for dinner and Bianca's annoyed. Pat tells Bianca she and Ricky are meant to be. After overhearing Ricky and Sam's engagement announcement, Bianca's distraught.

Minty takes Sam flowers, she tells him she's leaving and draws a heart on his shopping list along with her phone number. Manda's son Adam arrives. The hired stair climber hasn't arrived, Minty offers to carry Adam up the stairs, but he doesn't want Minty's help. Adam and Minty obviously have little in common. Minty throws Sam's number away but Adam later finds it in the bin.

Lucas leaves a message on Trina's phone. Masood sees Amira wearing Trina's bracelet. He returns it to Lucas. Ryan and Chelsea think they can both con Chelsea out of her scratch card winnings. Janine tries to pass off a handbag from the market as designer, but before Chelsea can hand over her money, Ryan tells her it's fake.
