Stewart Copeland
Stewart Copeland, drummer with 50 million record selling, 2 Brits and six Grammy award winning band ‘The Police’, joins Clive in the studio. Rock ‘N’ Roll anecdotes abound - his fractious relationship with Sting, appearing on Top of the Pops as Clark Kent in in full camouflage gear and… playing polo with Prince Charles. His memoir ‘Strange Things Happen, A Life with The Police, Polo and Pygmies’ is published on October 1st by Harper Collins.
Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones
Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones is not only the UKs first Black Farmer, he’s a prospective Conservative Party candidate, a campaigner to encourage urban black youths into farming and now ‘The Black Farmer Cookbook, Flavours without Frontiers’ is published by Simon and Schuster.
Danny Dyer
With TV, film and theatre credits including Skins, The Football Factory and The Homecoming, actor Danny Dyer talks about being Sid Vicious in the play ‘Kurt & Sid’ at the Trafalgar Studios 2 from Monday 9 September to Saturday 3 October. His forthcoming film ‘Dead Man Running’ is released in cinemas on Friday 30 October
T Model Ford
Gideon Coe talks to the Godfather of Gangster Blues, T Model Ford. He's been shot, stabbed, poisoned and his ankles wear the ragged scars of chain gang shackles. He only picked up a guitar in his 50's and now the 89 year old Mississippi Bluesman continues to tour - playing The Luminaire, London on Saturday 12 September with dates across the UK before heading to the Republic of Ireland Monday 28th September.
