Synopsis
From the Royal Albert Hall, Clive Anderson introduces a special Prom marking the anniversaries of three great British composers, Delius, Elgar and Holst, who died 75 years ago.
Sir Charles Mackerras conducts the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance of Holst's mystical Planets Suite, Elgar's spirited Cockaigne Overture, and Delius's evocative Song of the High Hills, with soloists Rebecca Evans and Toby Spence.
