Synopsis
Chris finds out if is there a better way to predict the weather than using the Met Office? And we're joined in the studio by Dream Analyst Ian Wallace.
Baby Is It Cold Outside?
After predicting a 'Barbeque Summer' the Met Office had a change of chart and are now saying the outlook is much more miserable! Btu who can blame them for their faulty forecast over such a fickle phenomena? We spoke to 3 people who may be able to more accurately assess the atmosphere. Libby Greenhalgh, Meteorologist with the Skandia British Sailing Team, Naz Sumar, Strategy Analyst for the McLaren F1 racing team and Sasha Dell Animal Behaviour Lecturer at the University of Exeter.

Thursday 30 July - Question
Why do I have to put my dishwasher tablet into the dedicated compartment? After a couple of minutes the door opens and the tablet falls out. Can I just throw it into the bottom to begin with, or is there a dishwasher industry rule which I might be contravening? Fran Walsh, Wales
Thursday 30 July - Answer
I have to thank Paul Miller, who's a dishwasher engineer from Swansea, who called in to let me know what purpose the detergent tablet drawer actually serves. There are two reasons for it - firstly, when you turn a dishwasher on, the first thing it does is drain down any excess water that may have been left behind by a previous wash - so you don't want the tablet in there at this stage because it would dissolve and there wouldn't be any left for the main wash. Similarly, if you put the machine on a pre-wash setting, that's supposed to rinse the plates without water to loosen up any heavy dirt. Again, you don't want detergent in there at that point either. The drawer is programmed to pop open when the main wash starts so you get the detergent when you need it.
