Synopsis
Janice presents a comprehensive roundup of all the action at this weekend's Latitude Festival in Suffolk, featuring interviews, live tracks from the main stage and intimate acoustic performances recorded especially for the show. Includes interviews with Sir Peter Blake, Ed Byrne, Scott Matthews and Noah & The Whale and intimate acoustic performances recorded specially for the show from The Gaslight Anthem, Thomas Dybdahl and The Rumble Strips.
Actor David Morrissey goes backstage chatting to the likes of Vivienne Westwood, John Simm, Sean Lock, Mark Billingham, Joe Penhall and Shane Meadows while weatherman Alex Deakin keeps an audio diary of his first ever festival experience.
Hear highlights of Eg White's Great British Songbook Masterclass, where he composed a song with the help of festival goers at Latitude. Eg is an award-winning songwriter and producer, who wrote such hits as Adele's Chasing Pavements, Warwick Avenue by Duffy and Leave Right Now for Will Young.
There's also the pick of live performances from the main stage with music from Grace Jones, Pet Shop Boys, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Pretenders, Lisa Hannigan, Doves, White Lies and Regina Spektor.
